We are seeking an organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in our South Brisbane office, this role is essential to supporting project delivery by ensuring materials arrive on site in line with construction sequencing and project requirements.

About the role

In this key role, you will help ensure materials move efficiently, accurately and on time across our construction-focused business units. You will coordinate local deliveries with site teams, manage transport providers, process logistics invoices, handle import documentation and resolve billing enquiries - playing a vital part in keeping projects on track.

As the central point of contact between project teams, site personnel, suppliers and transport partners, you will support the smooth flow of materials from supplier to project sites. Your work will directly contribute to project delivery, site productivity and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate delivery schedules with site teams, suppliers and transport providers, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders on the status of deliveries.
• Act as the central point of contact between project teams, site personnel, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Review packing lists and delivery requirements to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
• Issue clear delivery instructions including load details, site contacts and access notes.
• Monitor transport progress and proactively resolve delays, access issues or misroutes.
• Manage import documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems for tracking, reporting, compliance and proof of delivery.
• Ensure an organised workflow for invoice processing to support timely payments. This includes, checking accuracy against agreed rates, purchase orders and delivery records.
• Investigate and resolve billing enquiries and discrepancies.
• Act as the key communication link between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  
  

About you

The Logistics Coordinator is a critical link between procurement, site operations, and transport partners. You will be part of a supportive team, working across multiple stakeholders to keep materials moving and projects delivered. We are seeking someone who can bring the following:

• You have previous logistics experience with a solid understanding of shipping, freight, scheduling systems and transport processes.
• Knowledge of transport compliance and chain-of-responsibility requirements would be highly regarded.
• You thrive in a customer focused support role, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• You are thorough, accurate and pay attention to the minor details
• You have a problem-solving mindset and are proactive in presenting solutions
• You have intermediate skills across Microsoft Office Suite, in particular across SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel.
• Construction site operations knowledge, or a willingness to learn.
