Trades & Labour roles
McNab Trades & Labour is a 150+ strong workforce of trades and skilled labourers, delivering expertise across formwork, carpentry, painting, rigging, ceilings and partitions, waterproofing along with a wide range of other trade initiatives, helping drive both project delivery and quality across our projects.
Our inhouse Trades & Labour team was established back in 2021 in response to industry wide challenges, including rising material costs and labour shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
By bringing trades inhouse, McNab ensured projects could be prioritised, delivered with certainty, and managed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Since then, the team has continued to grow and diversify their skillset, taking on additional work such as formwork, waterproofing, and other specialist trades further enhancing our ability to deliver projects seamlessly for our clients.
We’re always looking for great people to join our team as:
- Formworkers
- Carpenters
- Painters
- Waterproofers
- Labourers
- Boilermakers
- Welders
- Apprentice Carpenters
- Riggers
- Yardperson
- Forklift Operators
At McNab, we offer career pathways for those wanting to progress in construction.
Many of our senior leaders started on the tools as carpenters and worked their way up to become Foremen, Site Managers, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.

At McNab, we believe our greatest potential lies in the people we already have. We’re looking for our next generation of skilled tradespeople, leading hands, sub-foremen and foremen – and we want them to come from within our own team.
