About Supplyhaus

Supplyhaus, backed by the McNab Group, is reimagining construction supply. We specialise in providing and installing industry-leading façade, joinery, and steel solutions, delivering high-quality building products with builder expertise. Supplyhaus Joinery offers comprehensive joinery solutions, meticulously managing every facet from conception and fabrication to installation and aftercare.

As we continue our growth, we are seeking a Stone expert to further enhance our product offering, this is far more than a traditional Stone Manager position.

As the Stone Manager, you'll lead the establishment and growth of our stone division of Supplyhaus, taking ownership of the entire stone offering, from supplier partnerships and design collaboration through to estimating, project delivery and long-term business growth.

Initially reporting to the Joinery Manager, you'll be supported by an experienced team including Business Development, Estimating, Contract Administration, Design and Preconstruction while you establish the business, build supplier networks and develop the systems and processes required for long-term success.

Working closely with architects, developers, builders and internal stakeholders, you'll become the technical expert for all things stone, ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, service and commercial performance.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced stone professional looking to step into a leadership role with genuine influence. As the business grows, you'll have the opportunity to build your own team, develop supplier relationships both locally and internationally, and ultimately take ownership of the business's profitability and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the establishment and growth of the Supplyhaus Stone business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local stonemasons, offshore manufacturers and fabrication partners.
  • Build strategic relationships with architects, developers, builders and stone agents.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities alongside the Business Development team.
  • Work collaboratively with the Joinery Manager on live opportunities throughout the pre-award process.
  • Attend client, consultant and architect meetings to provide technical stone expertise.
  • Lead design workshops and collaborate with clients to develop innovative stone solutions.
  • Coordinate the estimating and quoting process with internal estimating teams and external suppliers.
  • Review project documentation and provide commercially sound stone solutions.
  • Evaluate value management opportunities that deliver the best outcome for clients without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate prototype design, shop drawings and prototype inspections where required.
  • Manage stone sample selection, approvals and factory sign-offs.
  • Undertake quality inspections to ensure products meet Supplyhaus' standards and Australian Standards.
  • Develop project programmes in collaboration with internal stakeholders to meet delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate project handover to the Project Management team, ensuring a seamless transition from preconstruction into delivery.
  • Assist with contract reviews and Statements of Work alongside the Contract Administration team.
  • Contribute to the development of systems, processes and supplier networks that support future business growth.
  • As the business grows, recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing stone team.

About You

You're recognised as a subject matter expert within the stone industry and bring a wealth of experience across natural and engineered stone products.

You combine technical knowledge with commercial thinking, understanding not only how to deliver exceptional stone solutions, but how to build lasting relationships and grow a successful business.
