About Supplyhaus

Supplyhaus, backed by the McNab Group, is reimagining construction supply. We specialise in providing and installing industry-leading façade, joinery, and steel solutions, delivering high-quality building products with builder expertise. Supplyhaus Joinery offers comprehensive joinery solutions, meticulously managing every facet from conception and fabrication to installation and aftercare.

About the role

As our Joinery Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of multiple joinery projects across South East Queensland. Working alongside our Project Managers, Foremen and installation teams, you'll help keep projects moving by resolving defects, coordinating replacement items, supporting site activities and proactively identifying issues before they become problems.

This is not a desk-based or site-based role. Instead, you'll be out and about supporting our projects wherever you're needed most. One day you may be working alongside a Foreman on a major load out, the next you could be walking a completed project to identify defects, coordinating replacement items through our warehouse, organising workshop reworks or assisting with prototype installations.

You'll work across projects throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba regions, travelling between sites several days each week. You'll also regularly visit our warehouse to coordinate replacement joinery items, workshop reworks and project materials, ensuring everything is where it needs to be to keep projects progressing.

This is a highly autonomous role where you'll partner closely with our Project Managers to prioritise your workload across multiple active projects, ensuring your time is focused where it delivers the greatest value to the business.

To support your travel, a fully maintained company vehicle will be provided, allowing you to travel between sites, our warehouse and project locations with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers and site teams across multiple joinery projects throughout South East Queensland.
  • Coordinate and complete defect inspections and defect close outs to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Walk completed projects to identify defects and prepare pre-Procore defect lists for installation teams.
  • Work closely with site Foremen during load out days, providing additional support where required.
  • Coordinate the protection of installed joinery to minimise damage from subsequent trades and reduce defects, rework and project costs.
  • Coordinate and resolve site variations in consultation with Project Managers.
  • Organise replacement of damaged or missing joinery items and coordinate ordering through Project Managers or attend our warehouse for items.
  • Liaise with clients, site teams and internal stakeholders to coordinate after-sales service and purchaser defects.
  • Coordinate any reworks, ensuring replacement items are completed and returned to site efficiently.
  • Assist with prototype setup, breakdown and transport coordination when required.
  • Prioritise workloads across multiple active projects, responding to changing site requirements and business priorities.
  • Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Foremen, installers and workshop teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, defect records and close-out information.
  • Provide general project support wherever required to keep projects moving and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

About You

You're someone who enjoys solving problems, staying organised and keeping multiple moving parts under control. You take pride in producing quality work, communicate well with people at all levels and genuinely enjoy being out on-site supporting project delivery.

You have an adaptable, team-first approach and understand that priorities can change quickly. You're willing to step in wherever needed, recognising that every task contributes to delivering an exceptional outcome for our clients.

You'll also bring:

  • We are seeking a trade qualified cabinet maker with experience working on apartment / commercial joinery projects, fit-out or similar.
  • A strong understanding of joinery installations, defect management and site coordination.
  • You're adaptable, able to shift priorities as project needs change while maintaining a positive attitude.
  •  Willingness to roll up your sleeves wherever needed, understanding that every task contributes to successful project delivery, no matter how big or small.
  • The ability to confidently prioritise competing tasks across multiple projects.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with Project Managers, Foremen, installers, clients and subcontractors.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the initiative to identify issues and drive them through to completion.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel between project sites across South East Queensland (company vehicle  provided)
  • A current driver's licence, white card and willingness to undertake a functional capacity assessment.
