Duties

You'll carry out a variety of rendering tasks across different project types — no two sites are the same.

• Cement rendering
• Acrylic and textured coating systems
• Patch repairs and remedial rendering
• Internal and external rendering
• Preparation of substrates including blockwork, concrete and blueboard
• Finishing surfaces to a high standard

You'll also:

• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to application
• Mix and apply rendering products to specification
• Read and interpret plans and project requirements
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Follow all site safety procedures
• Work effectively within a team and adapt to changing site environments

What We're Looking For

• Experienced Renderer with commercial construction experience
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
• Reliable, professional and team-oriented
• Able to work independently when required
• Keen to build a long-term career with a respected builder
• Construction White Card (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport (travel across Brisbane and SEQ as required)

• Birthday Leave: 1 paid day off in addition to 4 weeks' annual leave and 10 days' sick leave
• Banked Hours: Any hours worked beyond 38 in a week may be banked to take as paid leave or paid out later
• Paid Travel Time: For work on sites more than 40km from your base McNab office
