McNab is looking for a motivated Construction Cadet to join our Toowoomba team.

What’s a McNab Cadetship?

Forget spending your whole degree learning about construction from a textbook or lecture!

Our Cadet Program is designed to get you into the industry while you study, giving you real experience on real projects alongside experienced construction professionals.

You’ll gain exposure across areas including:

• Contract Administration

• Site Operations

• Estimating

• Design

You’ll work alongside Project Managers, Site Managers, Contract Administrators, Estimators and other construction professionals who can teach you how projects actually come together.

You’ll be given genuine responsibility, plenty of support and the opportunity to build your career while completing your degree.

And yes - you’ll get paid while you learn!

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll be a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Construction Management student (or studying a similar construction-related degree) who is based in Toowoomba or the Darling Downs.

More importantly, we’re looking for someone who:

• Is genuinely interested in building a career in construction

• Has a strong work ethic and is willing to have a crack

• Is curious and asks plenty of questions

• Enjoys working with people and being part of a team

• Can communicate confidently and professionally

• Is organised and willing to take responsibility

• Wants more than just a job to get them through university

You don't need to know everything - that's the whole point of a cadetship. We’re looking for attitude, potential and someone who wants to learn.
