We're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our People & Culture team and play an important role in supporting our recruitment function. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, finding talent, keeping things organised and ensuring the team can make connections happen.

You'll work alongside our recruitment team to identify and connect with potential candidates, support recruitment processes, build talent pools and ensure every person who interacts with McNab has a great experience. You will be the go to person, using your charm and technical capabilities to ensure consistent and timely interactions occur for the recruitment team.

What you'll be doing

Connecting with people and creating great candidate experiences

• Be a key point of contact for our recruitment team, managing general enquiries, candidate communication and referrals.

• Build relationships with candidates, understand their career motivations and identify opportunities for future engagement.

• Conduct initial candidate screening and identify potential talent for our recruitment team.

• Keep candidates informed, follow up and ensure people receive a responsive and professional experience throughout the recruitment process.

• Support candidate aftercare, gather feedback and identify opportunities to generate referrals.

Finding talent and building our networks

• Research industries, companies, projects and competitors to identify potential talent for current and future opportunities.

• Support recruiters with proactive sourcing, candidate identification and talent mapping.

• Help build and maintain talent pools across our key business areas.

• Identify opportunities to connect with passive candidates and keep them engaged with McNab.

• Support our employee referral program and help strengthen our external talent networks.

Keeping recruitment moving

• Help manage our recruitment systems, vacancy lists, job advertisements and candidate records.

• Ensure candidate information, communication and recruitment activity are accurately maintained in PageUp.

• Support recruiters with screening, interview coordination, candidate follow-ups and general recruitment administration.

• Assist with reference checks, pre-employment checks, contracts and onboarding activities when required.

• Identify opportunities to make our recruitment processes easier, more efficient and more effective.

What we're looking for

We're interested in someone who is naturally curious, resourceful and enjoys connecting with people.

You'll ideally bring:

• Experience using recruitment systems, sourcing platforms or working within a recruitment environment, and a passion to want to progress and learn from a reputable recruitment team.

• An understanding of recruitment processes and what makes a great candidate experience.

• Confidence communicating and building relationships with a diverse range of people, from tradespeople through to senior leaders.

• A natural ability to research, investigate and find information

• Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the details.

• A proactive approach, with the initiative to identify what needs doing and get on with it.

• A genuine interest in people, their careers and what makes them tick.

• Technical savviness with systems, AI etc - anything that will help support an efficient and engaging recruitment process

Previous recruitment or alternate sales experience is advantageous, but we're also open to someone with strong administration, customer service or coordination experience who is keen to build a career in recruitment.
