Optimisation Specialist

As we continue to scale, we’re investing in how our technology supports the business to operate effectively into the future and deliver at pace. To support this, we’re looking for an Optimisation Specialist to join our Technology Services team.

This role sits within Technology Delivery and focusses on improving how systems, tools and workflows come together to support critical day-to-day operations across the Group.

It’s suited to someone who enjoys working closely with the business and helping optimise workflows so they are simpler, more effective, and well supported by our technology advancements, as we continue to expand into the McNab Group.

About the Role

Reporting to the Technology Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the uplift of technology and workflow initiatives across McNab, and the way we need to operate and communicate across functions as we scale.

You’ll work alongside business and technology teams to understand current workflows, identify friction points, and help shape practical improvements that align to broader technology priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partner with business and technology teams to understand how work flows across teams and identify opportunities to optimise workflows
• Support the design and rollout of technology initiatives that improve efficiency, usability and consistency
• Business analysis and translating business needs into clear, practical outputs that support system and workflow uplift
• Contribute to the successful delivery of technology programs by ensuring solutions align to real-world ways of working
• Work with stakeholders to embed improved workflows and tools into day-to-day operations
• Facilitate working sessions to align on challenges, priorities and practical solutions
• Support ongoing uplift of workflows and ways of working through feedback and insight
• Help drive clarity and consistency in how work is carried out across teams, supported by technology

About You

You’re someone who enjoys sitting between business and technology, bringing clarity to how work gets done and focusing on what will work in practice.

You’re comfortable working across a range of stakeholders and can balance big-picture thinking with practical delivery.

You’ll bring:

• Experience in business analysis, optimisation and automation preparation of workflows for technology initiatives or operational improvement within complex environments
• Ability to understand how work flows across teams and translate this into clear, actionable improvements
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes across all levels
• A pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset with a focus on usability and outcomes
• Confidence working in environments where priorities evolve and collaboration is key

Experience in construction, property or similarly operational industries is beneficial, but not essential.
