You'll carry out a variety of commercial waterproofing works across a range of project types — no two sites are the same.

Key duties include:

• Application of liquid-applied waterproofing membranes
• Installation of sheet membrane systems
• Surface preparation and substrate repairs
• Waterproofing of bathrooms, balconies, rooftops, podiums and wet areas
• Sealing penetrations, joints and detailing to specification
• Quality checking completed works to ensure compliance with project requirements

You'll also:

• Read and interpret plans and waterproofing specifications
• Operate tools and equipment safely
• Follow all site safety procedures
• Work alongside other trades to meet programme deadlines
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail

What we're looking for:

• Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Waterproofing or equivalent)
• Experience in commercial waterproofing
• Experience with sheet membrane systems (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong understanding of waterproofing systems and industry best practice
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented
• Motivated with a strong work ethic
• Professional and team-oriented
• Capable of working unsupervised when required
• Construction White Card
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport (travel throughout SEQ required)

• Birthday Leave: 1 paid day off in addition to 4 weeks' annual leave and 10 days' sick leave
• Banked Hours: Any hours worked beyond 38 in a week may be banked to take as paid leave or paid out later
• Paid Travel Time: For work on sites more than 40km from your base McNab office
• Support and systems that make it easy to do your best work — and go home safe every day
