About the role

We’re looking for a driven and capable Project Engineer to join McNab on the Gold Coast.

With a strong pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, and multi-res projects, you’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality builds in a supportive and well-structured environment.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating quality, safety, programming, and design management activities to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. You’ll work closely with Project and Site Managers to drive buildability outcomes, maintain compliance, and keep projects progressing efficiently.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

• Coordinate day-to-day project delivery across safety, quality, program, and design
• Drive buildability outcomes and resolve design and construction challenges early
• Manage RFIs and site instructions, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reporting
• Support program delivery and track progress against key milestones
• Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications and standards
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities
• Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and the project team to keep works moving

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related field
• Experience working for a commercial builder (head contractor preferred)
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive outcomes
• Solid understanding of construction methodology and project delivery
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach
